Art as Resistance Opening Night (Art Sale and Reception)

Our first art show is on the calendar and we are looking for art!
During standard business hours, come in and pick up a packet from us to enter into “Art as Resistance,” a postcard art show. The show is free to enter and packets are free, a suggested $2 donation per packet is welcome but not necessary. If you take one and don’t use it we would really appreciate you bringing it back to use for future art shows!!

EVERYONE is welcome to enter, regardless of “artist” status. All mediums are welcome as well, but you must use the provided canvas. This is a 4”x6” piece of watercolor paper with rough edges. The theme is your personal interpretation of the statement “art as resistance.”
All work will become property of Sagebrush and will be for sale at our opening, April 25th from 6pm-8pm. All proceeds will be donated to a local non profit, our friends at Idaho Sierra Club. We will have refreshments and a fire going, and all work will be for sale for only $20 each.

We will have a voting for Best of Show!
Work is due by April 16th.

More info is on our website. Official show poster by the lovely Julia Green. (want a poster to hang up? DM us!)
