Selling with Sagebrush: FAQ
A little bit about Sagebrush, the retail shop:
We are a curated shop that features both local and regional artists. We have a focus on sustainable, nature-inspired, outdoorsy goods, but also offer a variety of other products. The best way to check out the vibe of the shop is to just stop in!
What do we look for?
We focus on high quality goods in every form. We look for concise, cohesive and clear branding. If you're local to Boise, Idaho, we try to focus on newer or smaller artists that are not in every other Boise gift shop. We are trying to offer something different to the community and we can't do this if we are competing with our lovely neighbors. We do not sell manufactured goods, or any vintage. Everything must be hand made by the artists (with the exception of prints, and stickers).
What is the process?
We have created this form for all product inquiries. If you're interested in selling in Sagebrush, please fill out this form ONLY. We are no longer accepting emails, DMs, Facebook messages, ect. Please fill out this form and if we are interested, we will reach out. Please do not come into the shop with your products. You will be referred to this form.
Do you do wholesale?
At this time, no. Our shop is a consignment based co-operative and we do not do wholesale at the time.
Do I need to live in Idaho?
Absolutely not! We have artists from all over the Mountain West. You do not need to be local to be a part of Sagebrush, but you must reside in the Mountain West (Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Alaska). We do ask if you are in the shop you do your part by sharing on social media as we are a collaborative!
Why can’t you accept everyone?
We appreciate the outpouring of love, support, and interest from the community. Due to keeping our curated theme, and not wanting to compete with our neighbors, we simply can not say yes to everyone who inquires. Please understand that we also are only 600 sq feet.
We currently have 75 artists in our shop and are not accepting new artists. If you’re still interested, you can fill out the form to be on our radar for when we are seeking new vendors!
